Product Description
This is an electronic air purifier. It uses what is known as an ionizer to filter out the dirty air. The electronic air purifiers have two sections for getting rid of dirty air. One section is for ionizing and the other section is for collecting the dirt. In the ionizing section, dirty air particles pass between ionizing wires and plates connected to a high voltage power supply. Over 8000 volts ionizes the air, creating positive ions which attach to the particles leaving them with an intense electrical charge. The charged particles then move to the collection section, where they encounter closely-spaced, oppositely-charged collector plates. Positively-charged particles attach to the negative plates and negatively-charged particles attach to the positive plates. Negative ions are important to how we feel ,and an air ionizer creates more negative ions when there aren't enough. This process removes the small pollutants from the air we breathe. With the air purifier the air is clean: NO CIGARETTE SMOKE, NO AIRBORNE PARTICLES FLOATING AROUND, NO ODORS, NO POLLUTED AIR. Choose from two cleaning levels, depending on the condition of the air or the size of room. Slim tower design takes up little floor space. It's 16" tall×6" diameter.

I love this purifier. It works great. I never knew how much unhealthy particals are in my air in my home. The air in my home always smells so clean. This purifier is so quiet i have to put my hand in front of it to tell if its working. Well worth the money. I wish i had purchased one a long time ago.

What the seller does not reveal is that this product is an "ionizer/ozonizer". The owners manuel that comes with the product reveals the unit produces less than 0.05 ppm, 15 mg hr ozone gas. There is also a warning in the manuel that reads,"People with respiratory problems or lung disease should consult a physician before using this product." I am allergic to dust and wanted an ionizer not an ozonizer. I would rather breathe dust than ozone gas that reeks of clorox smell. Clean, pure, fresh air is odorless,by the way, not reeking of clorox smell. see [...]. "EPA does not recommend air cleaning devices that produce the gas ozone. No agency of federal government has approved these devices for use in indoor occupied spaces. Ozone can cause health problems. Vendors and manufacturers make statements to lead one to think these devices are safe. They use misleading terms to describe ozone, such as "pure air" to suggest ozone is a healthy kind of oxygen. It is not. It is a toxic gas." In this case, the vendor did not even reveal that the product is an "ionic tower with ozonizer" which is how it is described in the owners manuel.I would not have purchased the product had I known it was an ozonizer. The word ozone was never mentioned in the product description. I returned this product for a refund. They did refund price of product plus shipping, but did not refund my cost to return it to them.I suggest and recommend SPT SF-15301 Mini Tower Fan with Ionizer, sold by Amazon.com. It is an excellent product to remove airborne dust and leave the air clean, clear and odorless.

The Ionizer works,the UV lamp works properly- We can smell distinctive germicidal odor!
after 3 weeks(as instruction says) I've checked electrostatic plate and wiped it with white napkin &
the outcome is nothing-clean( I expected not much but some dust),checked once again after
10 days NOTHING!simply clean!
But the dust is visibly around the room.
No air purification! Returned this purifier back to the seller,the money returned partially-
I must payed off all shipping cost- $26.00 short.
this purifier does not work for me,frustrated.

Great little gadget, I always keep this on when I'm working in my area, it's compact, easy to clean but a little bit noisy.
