i wasn't sure if these were the actual honeywell filters. i don't believe they are. they didn't come with the precut lines like the honeywell.
a big course sheet of activated carbon January 19, 2010 sleepless in south dakota 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
a big course sheet of activated carbon is exactly what it is. It says 2 uses, but that is not true for a big air cleaner. You have to cut it to shape, no lines or perferations. Which if your like me and can't cut in a straight line is difficult. It is also courser than the one that came with my air cleaner. Courser means less surface area per cubic centimeter, and there for less efficent at removing odors. However it was inexpensive and I now have some scraps to play with.
Feel a little mislead January 16, 2010 tim maguire (NYC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It arrived quickly, it fit once I cut it. So far so good. But what do they mean by "2 uses"? I was expecting two filters, but only one was included. Apparently if I had a smaller purifier, enough would be left over after cutting to make a second filter, but if that's what they meant by "2 uses" then they should have been more specific.
Had better February 2, 2009 Veronica Thornburg 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I don't feel it works as well as others I have bought. It cut in half real good with a razor blade though.
Make sure you buy it from a reliable source December 23, 2008 Jarek (ON Canada) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
If you buy it from "Allergy Be Gone", the same thing might happen to you that has happened to me. They did not deliver the filter and they provided me with some fake package number that USPS said it did not exist. They also ignored my email messages - only once they responded with some idiotic text. I complained to Amazon and Amazon has returned me my money quickly. Why they ask me to write a review about a filter I didn't get, I have no idea.
