This product has been miss represented. First the picture of a True Air filter is not correct... you get something that is called a Hamilton Beach Replacement filter and it is not what is pictured. What is actually pictured and what you think you are ordering is not the product that you get! What you get is a cheap cut up ac filter put in a card board pkt to fit the Hamilton Beach. It is not any good and lasts less than 2 weeks. It has wire on it just like some of the bigger ac filters that are cheap. It is labled a "Best air" filter. It is not a Hepa filter. So don't buy from this company. There are other company's out there that sell this fake filter much cheaper. If the only thing out there are these cheap "knockoff's" then pay the cheaper price and pay for what you are getting ...not much.

I purchased the Hamilton Beach TrueAir which purifies the air. The filters that come w it are amazing. They are what make the machine so special. They trap all the allergens and impurities such as dust and mites in the filter and keep it from flowing into the room itself. I keep this machine on the table next to my bed as I consider my sleep very important to me. I have had very few sinus infections,spring allergies, etc. and I really think it's because I change these filters on a regular basis. As an added note, the "white" noise produced from this machine is a great noise to get you right to sleep!! The filter I purchased was the Hamilton Beach TrueAir 04712 Allergen Reducing Filter, and it was so easy to purchase at Amazon.com.

As other reviewers have commented, this seller does not provide the item pictured. I did not get the same Hamilton Beach True Air 3M replacement filter pictured and advertised here, that I had previously purchased in brick-and-mortar stores. Instead I got cheap, generic knock-offs. As per Amazon policy, I first contacted the seller directly asking for a full refund, including my shipping charges, since I would not have ordered this item in the first place if I had known I would not get the item pictured. The seller never responded. I had to go through Amazon and exercise the A-to-Z guarantee to get my refund. I appreciate Amazon's excellent customer service in honoring their guarantee in a timely fashion and in refunding both the product costs and shipping costs. But I am surprised and disappointed that, with all the complaints this seller gets, Amazon allows the seller to still operate through the Amazon website.

We have had our Hamilton TrueAir Purifier for four years and loved them. This Hamilton Beach TrueAir Replacement Filter is not the filter you have purchased in the past. It is a flimsy, lesser quality filter than what was originally sold as the TrueAir Hamilton Beach with Filtrete Media by 3M (Filter Part Number 04712). The description of this product is misleading.
