They catch the big stuff, and you can clean them if your careful. They will extend the life of you main expensive filter tremendously !

These are the best filters and the best air purifiers I have found. We use them in our bedrooms and take one with us on our trips. I would never stay in a motel, hotel, or resort without first running our Air Purifier. Having the same bacterial/virus light that hospitals use and two filters makes it a perfect asset for our travels. Hamilton Beach has been a trusted product name for generations and I am 68 yo so I know.

this is a great product if you have allergies or sinus problems, this will make a difference i breath normally at night and it helps cut down on the numerous colds and sinus infections i am prone to
